Looks good indeed (be very careful for the following 10 days now). Sparky, DHI, at least until November 2012 where I ve done my last HT, charges by sessions. They have 3 or 4 different time sessions (one of them called giga and includes two full days, which is the one that probably beatle George done) and they extracts as much grafts as possible during these time-sessions. This favors virgin donor areas, where a doctor can work easily on the other hand is not very good for someone with worked donor. However, they also include a minimum guaranteed number of grafts-hairs, which offers you when you choose one of their sessions.
As far as grafts or hairs is concerned, you are right that it is easier to understand because that s how most of the docs and clinics work. However, counting hairs is a better way for me to judge and HT, for one and only reason. And that is DENSITY ¦ as an example:
one hypothetical HT gave 2000 grafts. Counting down you had 1100x1haired-grafts= 1100 hairs, 550x2haired-grafts=1100 hairs 300X3haired grafts=900 hairs and 50x4 haired grafts=200hairs. TOTAL HAIRS=3300
another hypothetical HT gave 1800 grafts and someone can assume that it was less successful, BUT: it gave 700x1haired grafts=700 hairs, 600X2haired grafts=1200 hairs, 400x3haired grafts=1200 hairs, 50x4 haired grafts=200, 50x5haired grafts=250hairs. TOTAL HAIRS=3550
Thus the second hypothetical HT is more successful even if it includes fewer grafts. In my opinion counting hairs is more appropriate for judging an HT, grafts are easier for the clinics to charge but do not reflect the actual result.
