I didnt realize you guys performed SMP, the result makes the scar much less visible. Was this the temp version or the perm one?

It lasts 4-5 years depending on skin and exposure to sun.

Thanks Peggy This is interesting....Do you know what the differences are in yours that makes it last longer than most versions of the temp option....I only ask as i thought the usual temp version adopted by most clinics seems to last 12-18months approx and your version lasts longer but is not permanent?
Does look good though.

It is the type of ink but also the depth that play significant role in how long it can last. This technique of MPG lasts 4-5 years.

If I had Fue would I be bake to have Smp to fill the extraction sites once they heal?

Yes SMP can be used for both strip scars and FUE extractions.

Isn't the pic above showing the donor region? This patient had FUE and at least two Strip procedures. The SMP has made a significant difference on the strip scars. Were there any pigmentations applied the fue scars? I'd be interested in finding out more about the ink that last 4-5 years too. I thought DHI was using Melina Lardi's technique and ink.

Yup, I got you JimD. Actually, I also would be interested seeing the FUE scars too as well as getting more info on the ink that lasts 4-5 yrs.

Is MPG a new development seeing it lasts so long? This result is very good.

@SMP, traditional scalp micropigmentation is intended to last for 4-5 years. That means that the color strength remains true for that time frame, and then gradually begins to lighten and fade out.

Temporary SMP, now being advertised by certain companies is meant for a much shorter life span 8 months- 2 years depending on type of pigment.
