Hi.

Does anyone have any experience with the Glasgow Clinic? (The surgeon is Dr Pauline McCluskey.) They seem reputable, but I'd still like more information than I'm currently able to find.

What’s your hair loss situation?
The clinic has a banner on the site but do not post results or contribute. I had a look at their website and the bio of the Dr. Maybe contact the clinic directly if you haven´t already. Especially if there are any specific questions you want answered. Not all clinic use the forums but that doesn´t mean anything good or bad.

I'd say I'm a Norwood 3. I have actually been in touch with the clinic, and they seemed very professional, but it would still be nice to have more evidence, one way or the other, before making a decision.

All I can suggest is that you ask them for sone co fact details of patients who are willing to chat. I did this back in 2008 with SMG. I spoke to a guy from Ireland for an hour before making my mind up.

Hi Bigmac.

I was able to meet a former patient working at the clinic. However, he'd suffered from diffuse thinning, rather than a receding hairline, so I'm not sure how useful it was in gauging what I hope to get done.

I would suggest as Bigmac, try to research the clinic in detail, I would say you need to find some real reviews and preferably some of their patients who you could talk to and see their results.

If the clinic cannot give you this, I would be very hesitant to choose them.

Maybe reach out again to ask for others who you can speak to. Ask if any of the Google reviewers are willing to chat.
I have spoken to patients who went there for repair work and they were happy with the result.
