If your doctor thinks it may be Necrosis you need to have it checked out.

Did you revisit your doctor in person?
In all honesty, your photos do present some concern and that initial recovery stage did not appear optimal.
It did occur to me that this may be avascular necrosis. Whilst rare, this is more usually seen the recipient area when a doctor has tried to transplant at higher density. More unusual to see in the donor area and there must have been considerable "trauma" in this area for this to occur.
I hope things are improving for you.
I would definitely recommended getting it looked over and I would also suggest frequent photographs to accurately be able to appreciate any improvement.
I wish you the best.

Yes, I saw doctor. There seems to be a decent amount of stubble hair there starting. I will continue to take pictures and see the doctor. I’m taking minoxidil Rogaine topical solution on it twice a day. I started laser treatments at least once a week also.
Thank you

There isn’t any tissue damage. There seems to be a decent amount of stubble hair there starting. I will continue to take pictures and see the doctor. Thank you

Why does the doctor think it`s Necrosis? Necrosis is quite serious and needs to be checked.

Maybe vascular necrosis and hoping that it will correct itself. I have stumble hair there.
I looked up Vascular necrosis, all that came up was this saying it's a bone disease.

Avascular necrosis is the death of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply. Also called osteonecrosis, it can lead to tiny breaks in the bone and the bone's eventual collapse. A broken bone or dislocated joint can interrupt the blood flow to a section of bone.

I saw that too. I don’t know what’s going on yet. It does seem to be growing back a little, but still early. I’ll keep posted.

He’s not totally sure. He also thinks it may be the prior FUTs may have something to do with the blood supply in the area. I don’t know what’s going on yet. It does seem to be growing back a little, but still early. I’ll keep posted.

To me, it sounds like shock loss seeing that you have stubbly hair there which indicates growth.

Your donor looks to be very healthy before you had this FUE transplant. It's hard to believe it could look like it does now.

What did your doctor have to say?
I still haven’t seen him again yet. I’m also dealing with a torn distal bicep tendon. I’m having surgery on that tomorrow. I’ll post when I do. I think I have some growth in the area, but want him to check it again.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
My guess is shock loss too considering you can feel some stubble. Sometimes Shockloss can take quite a while to grow back (everyones different) I truly hope it corrects itself and it's not anything more sinister.

Please keep us updated

Doctor says there’s hair growth starting to come in now. Hopefully, it doesn’t take forever to grow back fully.
