Hi All,

6 months post HT!

I am really happy with how it is progressing so far.

The left temple is still quite a way behind the right temple in terms of growth but it's just a waiting game.

I have also started to notice that the density is slowly starting to come through in the mid scalp. You can see much less of my scalp than say, 1 or 2 months ago.

I realised I have never spoken about my Doner area so I have included some pictures to show what it looks like now.

I used Aloe Vera gel on the Doner area from around 3/4 weeks after the HT to help it heal and so far, I have not had any issues with the re-growth or patchy areas.

It is however still a bit sensitive and itchy at times!

Thanks for reading.

Mid month update

I noticed something I never thought about pre-HT.

Being 32, I am getting some grey hairs but mostly at the back and sides. The quiff and top were always my brown hair colour.

As the grafts were taken from the back and sides, I am noticing a lot more Greys in my quiff now haha.

It's not a negative, just something I noticed!

Haha I'm in the same boat! I jokingly (but seriously) said to the technicians to leave the greys alone but have noticed a couple in the new hairline

7 months!!

The first photo is exactly 1 year apart whilst on holiday. It was actually in this holiday where I really noticed my hair loss progressing and started researching Hair Transplants.

Hairline looking good, left temple still miles behind the right :(

Looking for density behind the hairline now so bulk it all up.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Looks great my friend, huge improvement from your starting point. What have the overall reactions been like, any interesting or amusing comments from family and friends.....always interests me how family and friends tend to not say anything or sometimes have zero clue lol.

Interestingly, since I had it done, not 1 person has said a word about my hair or how it looks until seeing some my family this week.

They recognised it looked different and thought I had changed my hair style to make it look like I had more hair haha.

Hi Alex. The hairline is looking good at 7 months. It frames your face nicely. Can’t see the left temple from these pictures. Hopefully, it catches up soon.

Hello....8 months!

It is hard to see progress but I'm hoping it's slowly adding density behind the hairline.

The left temple still shows no signs of improving, I have added 2 photos to try and show it. One is a sweaty gym pic which makes it look a tad worse.

In terms of my routine, I have changed it up slightly.

As I stopped taking Fin months ago because of side effects. I recently started applying Topical Finesteride instead. I made it myself with a 60ml bottle of minoxidle solution, crushed 6 X 5mg Fin tablets in and shook for 10 minutes to dilute.

I apple regular minoxidle foam In the morning and the topical Fin in the evening.

I also take 1x Saw Palmetto tablet and 1x Biotin every morning.

Looking great Alex!!! If you look back to your pre op pics there is such a difference. Hopefully the left temple will start filling in in the next couple of months. Like I have mentioned before the biggest improvement came for me around the 9 month mark.

Cheers Baldingman! Great that you got a lot of growth late on, I would be really happy with the same thing

Hi Alex, there’s still time for that one area to catch up. The newer hair loss regimen may speed it up. What’s your density like behind the hairline, the frontal third?
