Media Mgr Dr. Carlos K. Wesley
A 46-year-old male was bothered by the progressive thinning throughout his hairline and the more and more apparent receding of his hairline. He came to the office of Dr. Carlos K. Wesley (NYC) for a 2056-graft procedure that filled in the frontal half of his scalp. The patient then returned 13 months later for follow-up images as seen below...

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Outstanding result ¬b`. Do you find that incubating the grafts in the PRP helps a lot?

Great result, I see the patient had a good percentage of DFU's which weren't split, I believe these natural groupings help create better density.

looks good but hard to tell how much of result has been achieved as they aren't like for like comparison photos, hair always looks thicker when brushed over itself rather than being brushed back as it is in the before photos.

Thanks for your comments. The PRP and ACell combination has demonstrated slightly earlier growth post transplantation amongst our patient population. Double-follicular units (DFUs) do certainly help achieve a greater density while minimizing trauma to the recipient area. Sparky, I agree with you that dry to dry before afters are the best for illustrating growth most accurately. Hopefully, with the nearly 20 pairings of before/after images, an accurate representation of hair growth can be appreciated with this patient.
