Dr Farjo or Dr Raja (or others in the UK?)

Hi everyone.

I've just joined this site - great forum. I have been considering a hair transplant for a while.

I am looking at Dr Farjo and Dr Raja at The Private Clinic.

Does anyone have any advice/guidance between these two?

I actually contacted Dr Ball a year ago but he said it looked like I would lose more hair and I wasn't an appropriate candidate. I also saw Dr Bisanga who was happy to do the treatment but I decided I wanted to have my surgery in the UK for convenience. I'm sharing this info as it was quite interesting to have different responses and maybe others have experienced the same.

I am 36 and my hair has been stable for the last 10 years.

Thanks all.

Seeing your pictures would be beneficial. How many grafts did Dr Bisanga say he would do? Out of the two docs you are looking at I would say Dr Farjo has the proven track record with consistent results. One or both may refuse you if you have not consulted yet thus making your choice easier. Do you take Finasteride or anything else?

Thanks for you advice. I didn't add pictures because I didn't think it would impact people's views on who the best UK doctor would be. As for Dr Bisanga's diagnosis, he suggested 1500-1700 grafts to rebuid the hairline and add density.

Good to know you've heard Dr Farjo has a positive track record.

Anyone else who can help in me with any point of views/experience/reviews of UK doctors?

Thanks

If dr ball said u would lose more hair
Best to go on meds
Stablise your hair so its in good shape
Then see dr ball again
Be careful going to different surgeons to just get a yes from them
Always meds before any surgery
Take ur time

Thanks but it has been stable for 10 years so I was hoping to get more option. Assuming Dr Farjo and Dr Raja think I'm a suitable candidate, I wanted to ask for advice in who is the best.

I don’t know much about Dr Raja. His results look decent on the Private clinics website but there’s little in the way of patient reviews. He could be doing excellent work. Maybe ask him if there are any patients you could speak to or possibly meet to see their results. Do you know if he was trained by Dr Reddy?
Training under a skilled hair transplant doctor mentor is something I prefer. Like how Dr Kostis has trained and worked with Dr Bisanga for quite some time to perfect the artistry and skill it takes to perfect the surgery.
As for Dr Farjo, he has been around a long time with many documented results. It is easy enough to establish the quality of his work by looking at patient documented journeys.
Clinics do you have differing opinions on whether or not people are candidates. What reason did Dr Ball say you weren’t?
As you’ve had 2 consultations what level of loss were you diagnosed at? Norwood 2 for example.
