How's your fue looking balu_gani?
2 weeks after the HT, the transplanted hair started falling (this is normal as per doctor). I have now started with biotin tablets and shampoo given by Dr.Acar's team.
I guess, still have to wait for the transplanted hairs to start growing.

Little update:
I am now at my 2,5 month mark after my FUE hairtransplant at Cosmedica in Istanbul and small things are happening. I am very happy with the way things are going and here is a picture of me now and before.
More hairs are coming in the next couple of months ;)

Hello.
I went to Cosmedica Clinic Medicalpark one month ago. I had an appointment with Dr. Spammer and 4400 grafts were transplanted. I took all of his advices. He told me that my hair would fall out first 3 months. But all my hair fell out in the first month. I am a little bit worried, this happened to you guys also?

yes for me too, transplanted hairs started falling 2 weeks after HT. I sent my pics to Doctor and he replied saying that its normal and hairs will start growing after 2 months

Question to anyone did it with Dr. Acar with PRP Stem Cell.

Did you guys get your blood taken? Something similar to this. I did just the normal FUE HT, no PRP at the time.

I am booked in for Thursday 10th September, I am flying from Birmingham. I will provide before and after pictures, but probably in a new thread.

I have found it really difficult to get information answered from Dr Acar and the hospital as they don't always reply to emails or when they do they do not answer all my questions. Its taken me about 4 weeks to answer a few simple questions and get this booked.
HighAltitude6398 should have completed his yesterday and today. Wonder how he got on?

Thanks guys for keeping this post updated with all your journeys.
I'm sure it provides not only yourselves with reassurance and support with regards to your progress, but also reassurance for people like myself who is looking to visit Cosmedica/Dr. Acar by the end of the year.
Thanks again and please continue with the updates.

Hi
My experience with Dr. Acar and Cosmedica so far has been great! I am 12 week post-up and I really love what Im seeing! I had my temples and crown area done and already big changes in my crown area are happening. I am only using Rogain, biotin pills and a scalp tonic everyday after showering.
As you can see here is my before and after picture and everyday I fell my hair getting thicker (which is weird because it's so early in the process) I still hope it will thicken up evenmore, but as things a right now, I happy.

@Papuzon7 : after HT, did the transplanted hair fall from crown area and then they grew back?

Doctor suggested rogain shampoo, biotin pills and another pill. no scalp tonic for me..

Hi.
Some did but I haven't really been so focused on the crown because it's harder to control, back there. Overall I think a lot of the transplanted hairs started to grow and the rest fell off.

The scalp tonic is something I bought in Denmark, it helps keeping your scalp fresh and it boost hair growth ;)

Hi,

can you tell me name of the scalp tonic?

Thanks,
Balu

Yes, it's called FVS nr. 4 Tonic. I bought it on a danish webshop.

The combination of Biotin pills, biotin shampoo, rogain, healthy eating and the scalp tonic has really made my hair grow, look thicker and feel great, so this works for me and my hairloss has stopped, or at least slowed down a lot after the HT.

Hey, thanks again Michael for the crown update. My hair loss is near enough identical to yours (hairline and crown) so it's really good to see how well your crown is looking already.
I notice your not using finistrade/propecia in your regime. Was just wondering if you were happy to discuss what your reason for this is ?
Just to point out, I too currently am not, and will not be taking it once I have my HT.
Thanks again.
Jonny L.

Hi JonnyL
Yes the crown area has really kicked in and I am very happy with the look so far ;) Now I just wait for the temples to kick in ;).
Finistrade/propecia I bought at the clinic, but decided not to use them because of the sideeffect and I didn't want to risk it, so for now I'm not going to use them as things are going...... and as I said earlier (in another post) my hairloss has slowed down ALOT after the HT, and I am very surprised how thats possible, but I guess the biotin pills, biotin shampoo, scalptonic and rogain has something to do with it.

Hi guys, just on my way back from istanbul, will post some photos soon. Just have to say Dr Acar, Duygu and the rest of the staff are fantastic, they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Overall a great experience, just hope the results are as good as the service.

Hi All, I have been reading this topic from few days and i thought let me share my experience with Dr Acar. I had recently had FUE procedure and they transplanted around 2300 grafts. Its been a 36 days now since i undergo the procedure, i am seeing lots of hair shedding, scalp dryness, irritation, dandruff and i think that is normal. I hope others also experiencing the same. I will share my pics post procedure.

Hi All,

Its now been 2 weeks since my HT with Dr Acar. I had 4000 grafts done by the FUE method. As per everyone's comments, the nurses did the extraction and the transplanting but Dr Acar did the actual incisions and checked regularly with me throughout the day.

My scalp is still itchy and tight, and although the scabs have gone, there is a lot of dry skin falling off, and a little of the hair has started to fall out already. But according to Dr Acar this is all normal.

Ill try and do updates every 2 weeks, so heres the first photo.

hi, i dont know... i had only 1 pimple and that was it..i cut my hair after 3 weeks to 1mm and its almost invisible (donor), almost because its still red. 90% of the hairs have fallen out, the grafts with 2 and 3 hairs need longer to fall out.and im a little bit dissapointed about that, because i have many grafts in the front rows and they havent fallen out yet- but we will see in 3-4 months..i had it done on july 9.
