Also, how did you arrange everything, because they don't seem to respond to my emails. I want to go and have mine done with them but dissapointed that they don't reply to my email messages.

I'm very interested to see how your new hairline is progressing. Would you be able to post up some new pics by any chance ?

The reason why I ask is beacause your hair is very similar to mine, and having done some research, I'm leaning towards Dr. Acar for my hair transplant too. Hence it would be great to see some updates from yourself.

There are a few other questions I wanted to ask about the whole process. Would be really grateful if I could possibly contact you by email. I can't seem to contact you using the email option via the site. Probably because I'm a new member.

Well it's only been 1 month after the hairtransplant and nothing new to see. I lost alot of the hairs, but that's normal. So now im just waiting to see the hairs grow.
I just cut my hair to make it look more "natural".


Jimmie did you write to Dr. Acar directly? I had no problems arranging and they were quickly to answer my emails.

All looking good. We're you initially disappointed that Dr Acar didn't help with the operation, and it was another dr? Did they let you know this in advance or did you only find out when you got there?

Yea a little bit because it wasn't told to me, but the other doctor which was a woman was really sweet and did a great job, so after i had my talk with Dr Acar and he'd draw my new hairline etc. I went into the surgery. They were really great all of them but yea some things could be better. I hope for the best

Really appreciated. Your hairline is looking great. One of the questions I wanted to ask, you've already answered. Shaving your head so soon, obviously to make it look normal. Glad to see that it is a possibility.

Would be great if you could keep this post updated maybe once a month too, just so that myself, and anyone else interested, could see how things are progressing. I'm planning on going to Turkey/Cosmedica/Dr. Acar at the end of the year, so seeing your progress up until then will hopefully ease my fears / worries and make me feel a little more confident about the whole thing. I mean, your current pics look great already anyway.

Interesting...so did this woman doctor do any of the procedure?...mickey said that dr acar performed the extractions.
You say some things could been better? What things?
I admit if went to have the procedure there expecting Dr acar to be overseeing and performing part of the procedure, and then he had nothing to do with it, I would be extremely annoyed, probably to the point of not going through with the procedure unless he was involved. What was he doing on that day?

I only cut the native hairs short and was very careful with the transplanted area when I shaved, but after 9-10 days after the hair transplant, the transplanted hairs are secure and everything should be fine, and i just cut my hair 3 days ago for the first time since the operation (which was 1 month ago).
I had no bleedings, swelling and did everything they told me, with the washing, drying, etc. so all is well until now.

She only did the front of my hairline so the hairs where in the right position. I also hoped that Dr. Acar did the operation but no, he's has assistants to the the job for him, I only meet him when I went into his office before the operation and we talked about the operation, draw my new hairline etc.
As Mickeyblueeyes said it is what is it, you pay the price and they do lots of surgerys in one day. We were 5 people in one day, so they get a lot of people through the clinic everyday and yea, maybe it will turn out alright, or maybe it will look like crap, but my friend were there 2 years ago and his hair looks amazing!!
I took a risk because of the price, but I most admit they took really good care of me and my friend with the pickups from airport, hotel, operation etc. so for the price it was amazing.

I'm sure it will all look ok. The good thing about modern day fue is that you can't get butchered like the old days, and you won't have an ear to ear scar either.

I didn't realise there were 5 other operations going on. I suppose dr acar can't operate on all of them, hence why mickey had him operating on him and you didn't. I suspect if you specifically state that you want him operating on you, then he will.

Yes the price is fantastic. But it's only fantastic if the result turns out well, otherwise it's just a very expensive 3 day holiday. But I'm sure your results will be great.

These clinics are described as " hair mills "...your right it is a risk. But not everyone can afford to go to a clinic where the surgeon does everything.

No, I haven't had a operation as of yet. I'm ready to book a clinic for end of October, and I'm currently deciding on which one.

Turkey will be my destination. I was looking at dr demirsoy or dr oguzoglu..but I have to admit this clinic has caught my eye. Not just the price, but the results.

Demirsoy and oguzoglu perform all extractions and slits theirselves which is obviously a big plus point.

But clinics like dr acar and maral ( eg hairmills _), there is no getting away from it, they produce excellent results.

So I'm still looking into things.

I try to finalise my hairtransplant with dr acar,and yes i decide with him after read and see the pictures are realy good.I have some timing problem and change my plan date 2 time,cause travel to much,well after my hair transplant i will shown all my experience here.
I search by googlr call the clinic Cosmedica.com dr acar ,his assistant tell me he is in operation,and i leave my mobie phone number and after 4-5 hours , he call me back personaly i discusse with him about the operation details,about pain and after care...the healing process is about 5-7 he said,and he tell me that they have daily sometimes 1 and sometimes 3-4 operations.And that he personaly plans all the operations(hair line design,graft number calculation,planning the density,and the extraction area ) and do everyday himself of 1-2 operations,and some of his teams doctors and medical stuffs do the operations in a standardized treatment quality since 10 year.and he tell they give guarantee for results and have a standart results and with only Fue technic ,he give me his personel email adress for check my pictures and was a very kind person answers all my questions.
