I`m seriously considering using beard hair for a procedure, my donor seems on the thinner side which is why I`d like to utilise beard donor.

What amount of grafts can be safely harvested from a beard before it looks patchy? Also, do the beard grafts look natural once grown out?

Hi Vector ,You can harvest up to 3000 grafts without ending with a patchy look.( I am talking about someone with good beard density ).
After Beard transplant , some characteristics such as hair length usually change but others such caliber , texture of beard don't.Beard are rougher than scalp hairs when you touch them .That sensation won't change .That's why we often encourage to use this type of donor when they look as close as possible to scalp hairs ( Matching protocol ) .

Nice video Dr Mwamba. Have you any still pictures of the beard donor area after 1000's of grafts gave been removed?
I had 300 taken from under my chin and it healed great, I can't see any scarring.
