My experience at Dolan Park Hospital. Dr Krishnan carried out the procedure and was professional from start to finish explaining everything he was doing before hand, very caring and professional staff, each and everyone.
no woman should suffer with hair loss the results are amazing 10 months on, i would say woman with hair that needs to be styled give yourself at least three weeks off work, because you cant blow dry and style for a little while.
before I had the transplant my confidence was beginning to go I didn't like bending down in front of anyone, if someone looked up at my hair I felt upset because I thought they were looking at my hair loss, which they probably were, now 10 months on I have no fear of that I don't think anyone would look at me and think I had a problem with my hair, infact, only today someone I haven't seen for about 6 months said your hair looks lovely and it has thickened up loads (she doesn't know ive had a transplant).
I can still colour my hair every month, my hair is in good condition, I am one very pleased person with the results that have been achieved from the transplant.

Congratulations......there is nothing more heartwarming than hearing how someone's results have changed their life for the better. It's hard dealing with hairloss for anyone but as a rule I believe it's still much worse for women because even though it can destroy a mans whole life generally speaking it's still a normal thing for men to loose hair.......whereas for women It's not really supposed to happen and therefore makes them feel like the odd one out I would imagine.

Thanks for posting your story ZLH as I too have some hairloss concerns, I am looking at my options right now with surgery being one of them.
May I ask was it painful at all?

You will always experience some degree of discomfort when having surgery, during the surgery the application of the anaesthesia should not take to long and that is the only part you will really feel, not comfortable but very bearable and doesn't last long.
During the surgery you shouldnt feel any pain but after the surgery your are bound to feel some discomfort and tightness in the scalp for 2-3 days, most patients dont have much or any discomfort after that.
You cant make omelette without cracking eggs so bear that in mind, the 2-3 days of discomfort are definitely worth it if you have a good hair transplant.

Help line of hair loss treatment

Why would you necessarily do a FUE procedure on a woman? I find that once you tell women about the shaving involved the will prefer the strip harvesting any day of the week.
