finasteride - peeling/dry lips

Hi, I'm suffering from severe hair loss and I've been on finasteride trying to combat it which it has definitely slowed it down so it works. However, I'm getting a major side effect, my lips are constantly peeling/chapped. To make sure it was a side effect of finasteride, I stopped taking it to check - after a few weeks my lips returned back to normal. Then I started finasteride again and by the next day my lips were back to being chapped and peeling.

Has anyone known this to be a side effect and know of any cures? Vaseline/lipsole doesn't help.

I’ve bumped a post just below this one as another user reported these symptoms but never came back to say if they found a solution.
You may have to try topical fin asteroids as an alternative if you wish to stay on meds and not have this side.
