Finasteride side effects?

Having used finasteride in the past I didn’t have any noticeable side effects but I did read that it can effect pregnancy - eg potentially cause issues with male baby genitals? Is there any truth in this and can anyone recommend a natural alternative?

Some people claim Saw Palmetto is the natural alternative to Finasteride. It does have a risk of side effects similar to Finasteride, although as far as I`m aware there is no risk while trying to conceive. You will have to check this out though.

I've been getting a dull headache since starting Minoxidil and 0.5mg Finasteride. Which out of the two is likely to be causing my headaches

From my own experience of using both I'd say the Minoxidil is the cause.
Is the headache continuous or random days?
I would stop the minoxidil to see if the headache goes away. If it does you could try a lower strength later such as the 2% solution.
You said having used Finasteride in the past but your above post says since starting 0.5mg per day. Could you clarify this?

I agree with Bigmac, I had the same problems. Maybe just use once a day and if that works slowly go back to twice a day.
