At a time where it is very difficult to get at the truth one must remain very aware of what one is reading and how outside sources can affect this information. It doesn t mean that all information is bad but always question what you are reading and never believe only one source, never. An article was posted today, I felt it was well worded and worth reposting for others but since it has many links I will not repost it but you can search Censorship Abounds: The Handful of Companies That Control Your Perception by Christina Sarich. Most will be familiar with this information but sometimes it is good to be reminded.
I m no longer a television watcher for quite some time now. But even I had to laugh when all the Enron, WorldCom, Arthur Anderson etc scandals were going on several years ago and how the business channels reported the story as many of those major companies were sponsors. Eventually they caved in they had no choice as all those companies went out of business in very short order it became easier to report the truth. It was interesting to watch but many would have missed it because they were not looking at what I thought was the real story that the media never investigated the reports years earlier of what was really going on, didn t seem like they were much interested.
Who is good, who is bad? What words do they use or phrases do they keep repeating over and over again. It almost becomes a form of hypnosis so one needs to step back to get a clearer picture of what they are hearing and seeing.
