FUE,( High Density Procedure) Looking for my second procedure

Hi, I had my first transplant in 2006 by Dr Santo in Athens, it was arranged by Malcolm Mendelsohn.I now need to cover the crown and don't wont to have the strip procedure done again.I have been looking into FUE but I'm concerned about scaring. I now know that Mendelsohn and Santo are not connected but I have seen the website of Mendelsohn's, claiming to carry out the FUE procedure, (High Density procedure).
I would be grateful to hear the views regarding Mendelsohn's Fue or someone that can be recommended in London or Europe.

Regards

David

I happily recommend Dr Bisanga of BHR. He is based in Brussels and is one of the best FUE docs in the world. Well worth considering.

The main reason for someone getting FUE is to avoid the strip scar. But you already have one.

Why are you so against another strip procedure?

Hi
The procedure wasn't that bad, just the pain of the injections. For weeks after I had trouble sleeping because of the pain in the donor strip. It took a good two weeks before my face got back to normal, I had swelling over the top part of my face and black eyes. I looked like the elephant man! lol. Even now the side of my head is a little numb.I don't want to go through that again. I wish I had done a lot more research before hand, my scare is visible when I cut my hair short.

Hi DH,

I can understand that but the Doctor you went to last time isn't well known. I've had two strip ops and they were nowhere near as bad as that.

And if you go to one of the best this time there is a good chance they could improve your old scar if it is in the right place.

I am not saying you should definitely get another strip but if I were you I wouldn't be so quick to rule it out.

Also, you will have injections to numb the donor area with FUE as well and no surgical procedure is completely scar free.

I like I guess so many others just jumped in without finding out too much. I was told he was one of the best? This is his current website-http://www.asanto.co.uk/index.asp?LinkID=11
Funny now you mention it, I remember the burning smell and the noise, think I was to frightened to ask about it! lol. The Fue hair transplanter just seemed to be a better way, just worried about the scaring.
I do value everyone's opinion!

Hi DH,

I don't think that is anywhere near 2500 grafts. It is a poor job but luckily you weren't butchered.

I can't see where your scar is by. Is it near the bump on the back of your head?

hi ,

I would also strongly recommend Transmed hair clinic (Istanbul) for FUE session.

They are quite succesfull in achieving very natural results.

Keep in mind.
