Last Friday the 17th of December I have had a FUS treatment in the clinic of Dr Feriduni in Hasselt (Belgium).
After 2 visit to check my hair loss and the quality of the donor region I made an appointment to go for the FUS method.
The day started signing a few document and a short intake. Accordingly the washing took place and then we started. Dr Ferudini started with anaethetizing my skin on my head. You only feel a small injection, but this is not painful. The strip could now be removed to make a transplantation possible of about 2500 items. The wound was stitched with catgut and staples to make it all invisible.
Dr. Feriduni started with making the holes in the donor area. 3 dfferent sizes were created with a needle. In the meantime the assistants prepared the follicles out of the strip. The follicles were replaced to the donor area. This was the major part of the operation and it took about 4 hours. With a TV screen in front of you is this no problem.
After a check by Dr Feriduni the head was washed again. The assistants gave me instructions about what to do at home and gave me also everything on paper.
Now it was time to leave the clinic and let it cure.
The first night was quite good. A took a painreliever and had a good rest. The day after a second check took place at the clinic, including washing.
At this moment (3rd day after operation) I have a swollen face, but this was already explained in the instruction. I looks like I am a boxer, but it is already disappearing.
Until now I can say I am fully satisfied with the treatment. No pain and it looks already quite good. Full confident am very curious to the final result.
