Hair loss for the past two years

I'm only 15 years old. I've been having a lot of hair loss for the past couple of years - every time I run my hands through my hair, or brush my hair with a hand loads of hair falls out.

I've got quite a few bald patches too. When I part my hair there's this white line with no hair - everywhere on my head when I part it this occurs. Also, my scalp is pretty red. It's not very itchy, but a bit greasy.

My eyebrow hair also falls out.

It could be from stress from school (not only am I doing some GCSEs early, but I get 2 hours HW a day, so hardly any free time, constantly pressured to achieve. we have exams in 14 subjects every half term, in maths we have 2 a half term. (100+ a year) and I have quite a high lvl of testosterone)

At some points in the year it is worse than others.


While I've sat here around 60+ hairs have just fallen out, mostly from my head.

You need to go and see a trichologist.

Don't go an see you general practitioner about this condition, except to ask him or her for a referral to a trichologist. Be polite but firm - you want a referral. Because of your age, you may in your locale need to take a parent or guardian with you. Make sure they are briefed as to what you want.

As I'm sure you know, what you are experiencing is not male pattern baldness.

You can use olive oil for repair hair loss. You can mix yolk of an egg and lemon juice with olive oil for preventing hair loss. For quantity of each content ask your experts. This is my experience about hair fall problem. I was suffering hair fall problem due to dandruff. So used above mixture and I am feeling happy.
I used following mixture : 3 tablespoons of olive oil, yolk of an egg and a teaspoon of lemon juice..... I hope it is helpful for you also.

I think you need take an advice from a hair expert. Also, I would prefer to advice to use minoxidil 15 and polaris minoxidil nr-10 for hair loss. polaris minoxidil nr-10 is a new launched in market and most of the hair expert here are preferring to advice to their patients. The minoxidil 15 is a best medicine for a hair loss. As you said there is white patches on head, I think it is somewhat different case and for this you need to advice it from hair expert.
