Hair Loss Treatment

Hi everyone. I am a 29 year old woman and have been experiencing severe hair loss from the age of 17. I was thinking of getting a hair transplant. Will I get a head full of hair after undergoing this treatment? Also how long does it take for a transplant to grow? Can anyone recommend a good hair transplant centre in Toronto.

From what i have read Dr Rahal seems like a good choice for anyone in Canada.

Hi welcome to the forum. I agree Dr Rahal is a superb surgeon, i would however stress that you need to have realistic expectations of what a transplant can and can't achieve and the overall outcome will depend on the severity of your loss.

I think it would be beneficial to do a lot of research on the forums and maybe do some consultations.

I don't want to give you any false hope as without actually seeing pictures it's very hard to say what can be achieved in your case.

Please take your time and do things right.

Well your problem is now can be solved as there are so many new advances in hair surgery. They are more cost effective and also they require minimal care.

Concerning hair loss issue, I was fighting with this, too. I tried a lot of things, I spent a lot of money and still after all that, nothing really happened, nothing had changed...

It does happen with lot of people and yeah people often spend lot of money. I would suggest that one should always consult for surgery, its not necessary that you ought to have it but yeah it can give you certain ideas on the implications of your hair loss.
