Yes they can and do. Just like fast growers, slow growers are a smaller percentage of patients.

It’s nearly 11 months post HT and I still spend a lot of time looking at my hair in the mirror and analysing it. I noticed I still have quite a few wirey, springy hairs, I take it these can take up to 18 months to fully straighten out???

Yes, the wiry hairs can take this long to fully mature and take on their normal characteristics. I sometimes will get the odd hairs grown out wiry some 8 years after my transplant In that area.

So are wiry hairs the sign of in matured hair?? I’m finding some of my hairs at the roots are growing out darker. Where before they were very blonde or white
