Hair transplant in Turkey......The results!

I can't believe how cheap and generally scarfree this FUE procedure is. I never really considered getting a HT and just accepted the baldness. After seeing all your pic's I'm thinking of checking myself in this December. I'm more worried about the recovery process as I work in a corporate environment in an office, and don't fancy walking around during the recovery process. You're results are amazing and I'm glad you guys are enjoying the benefits.
It sounds like Turkey is the way to go. Has anyone tried Estehair in Istanbul? I know there are many companies offering the same service. I also hear Erkan Demirsoy is good.
Thanks for the feedback.;)

Hey guys. Just a query for those who have had their procedure done at Cosmedica this year and/or been in contact with anyone there.

I emailed them on 8th October to start a dialogue with them with a view to arranging a procedure around January time. The email addresses I used were:

[email protected]
[email protected]

however, more than 2 weeks later, I still have not received a reply. Is there another email address I should be using ?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi mate,
Don't understand why you haven't had a reply, that's the correct email addresses. They were always really swift to reply to any emails I had sent. Keep trying or maybe try sending from a different email address incase your emails aren't getting through!

Hey Mickey,
What did you use to cut your hair in the early stages of Post-op? I'm keen to keep my hair short like yours for a few months but I've been getting a lot of feedback with regards to using clippers/trimmers and how it's not best to use them until at least 6 months post HT......
Cheers mate,
Luke

Hi Lukemac

I cut my hair with clippers (which I now regret) I was listening to conflicting information and so I thought it would be okay. I would have someone cut your hair with scissors bro. My new updated (almost 8 months) pics will be up here very soon as I have email Bigmac and he will up them for me. I can honestly say that my hair is looking great. Most importantly I am feeling a million dollars and you can't put a price on that.

Hey guys

Many thanks to Bigmac for helping me with the pictures. I hope you guys can see how the progress is going. I have tried to do an up close one and some in different light settings to show the contrast.

Hey Mickey!

Wow mate your results look fantastic. Really good stuff so far! Just think aswell mate, you've got a few more months of growth to come yet! Yeah I think I'm going to use some scissors. I've got some decent ones at home so I'll use them. What's the name of the shampoo your using? The hospital didn't offer me any shampoo and I completely forgot to ask...

Hi Mickey great progress! Just out of interest why do you regret using a clipperss?Im due to get my hair done soon and im keen to keep it shor afterwards so the growth all looks the same and its not obvious. Do you think its possible to cut it very short with a scissors all over?
All the best

Hi Whatyawant

I regret it because I did it before I fully researched it. I had read that it was okay in a few posts but it wasn't until I really thought about it and looked at it logically that I felt that I shouldn't do it. However it was too late by then. I just feel that you have spent all that time and money on getting your hair transplant and you should give it the absolute best chance, and if that is not using clippers then so be it.

Hey guys according to a study from Dr Bernstein the grafts are completely secure by day 10 and can't be damaged or dislodged. Therefore it is generally safe to use clippers on the recipient hair from week three.

Hi future fue I think the reason you shouldn't use clippers is because you can change the angle of the hair

Im no expert but i wouldnt of thought it would change the angle of tge direction of the hair. Surely lightl buzzing it without the clippers actually touching your scalp woukd be fine

You cant change the angle of the hair by using clippers. After 10 days your grafts are firmly secure, nothing is going to change the angle they grow at.

I have clipped my hair from two weeks post-op and have had no problems so far. As long as you take your time and are careful then there should be no problems.

Ok I'm no expert either but apparently it may effect the angle they grow at later, according to some doctors. For example the hair may always stick up in certain areas.
