Hair transplant success?

After an fue hair transplant, the hair will eventually fall out in the first month and begin to grow back gradually over the successive months. Until it begins to grow, one could be unsure if the transplant will be a success. If however there is temporary growth between 0-7 days, does that suggest the hair transplant will be a success? If the hair was able to attach themselves to the blood supply and grow within the first 7 days, then it must mean that they were planted successfully or they couldn't even grow at the 0-7 stage. Is this correct?

Having grafts that continue to grow for a short while is not an indication of a successful outcome. i prove your chances by doing plenty of research before deciding on a clinic.

Have you had a transplant and seen some growth in the first 7 days? If the grafts do not get blood supply they will not grow. Clinics pretty much all say the same thing. The grafts go in, and bond to the skin etc. The hair, not the graft, falls out normally and the follicles rest for a few months.

I believe most would judge the success on the percentage of grafts that survive (assuming the hairs were taken from, and implanting into the right position and density).

I’m at the 4 week point. I’ve had a lot of shedding. Some hairs have continued to grow (often new growth being grey with the pre transplant growth being brown) and others have started to grow anew (they’re in places on my head where photos show I didn’t have hair previously, and they’re really short).

I’d like to think that’s a good sign, but the proof will be in the 12 month old pudding.
