I started losing my hair in my mid teens and it had always caused me a lot of personal grief and stress. I had researched a lot about hair transplants and hair procedures over the coming years and knew I was going to get one at some point. Over lockdown this was my frustrations over my hair where further amplified, most due to all the time I had to myself! It was at this point that I was to commit to the procedure.
To be honest I had done a lot of research over the coming years, so for me it was a case of simply finding a practice to use. I had heard a lot about going abroad and initially planned to use a clinic in Turkey. It was only when my family suggested visiting clinics locally as some of the prices may surprise. A lot of clinics wanted to work with me however my chosen clinic was the only clinic that gave me a comprehensive presentation of the procedure, after care and support. Not only this, but they also highlighted a lot of the negatives of using services abroad, which included a lack of post procedure support. The price was also suprisingly cheap considering the options abroad.
On the day of the procedure, I was greeted by my the man leading the procedure, Dr. Manish Mittal. He came across very confident and informative, but also inviting enough to help with any on-the-day nerves and ensured me of the success of the operation. I was immediately confident in his teams ability. Following the procedure, the Dr. and his team gave me a package for short and medium aftercare, as well as the prescription for the long term support.
After nearly 10 months after the procedure and I can say its one of the best things I've ever done, and wish I got it done sooner. Dr Manish and the guys at UK Hair clinics have been brilliant both on the day and with long term communication.
