Hi,

Just wanted to post my results. I am over the moon already and I am still noticing thickening. I had mild recession at the temples but have always had a high, receded hairline since childhood. This has always knocked my confidence! The donor area looks untouched and surgery isn’t even detectable with a skin fade.

I’ve avoided forums such as these post procedure as I didn’t want to analyse and compare to other people results at the same stage. Everybody is different and I believe worrying about it is pointless until the 18 month mark.

I would like to thank everyone at the hair dr for not putting pressure on me to have the procedure ( I experienced this during other consultations) and for giving me a natural looking, successful result.

Thanks for sharing your result with the forum 5head. 2500 grafts is a decent number of grafts to lower your hairline and fill in the recession. It’s good to hear you’re happy with your result and the donor looks untouched. You will be approaching 11 months now. I see you’re 34/35 from previous posts. Are you on any hair loss prevention regimen now or do you feel your loss is still stabilised?

Hi Bigmac!

I’m using topical minoxidil on the recipient area. I tried finasteride but it didn’t agree with me. The clinic have advised oral minoxidil which could be an option going forward.
My hair loss seemed to have stabilised about 5 years ago as did my fathers at the same age. Dr Arshad also went well back into the original hairline for future proofing. I’ve always wanted a lower hairline since I was very young so the technology available today has benefited me greatly. Best money I ever spent!!! I’ll monitor closely over the coming years (as we all do) and if I notice even a slight thinning I’ll look at the options.

With some luck the hair you lose in the future will be minimal and not noticeable, therefor, no more transplants.

This looks amazing. How does it feel? The psychological impact hair transplants have is big reason why people do it. Another fantastic result from Dr Arshad. Some people doubt his work but these latest results speak volumes of the hard work he puts in. Do you have any pictures taken at the clinic? @5head
