Hi Guys,

A couple of weeks late with this update, but I've taken 6.5 month close ups below.

I didn't actually meet with HDC at the end of last month as we both agreed on the phone that the final result is around the 9 month mark. I'm willing to go a bit further and give it 12 months before the final evaluation, so I will be updating HDC by mail & photos and have the evaluation meeting sometime in November. The good news is within the last 6 weeks there has been growth & although the left side is still less dense than the right the patch has gone & there is coverage.

Daz, your photos look great at 4 months my friend, hope your results continue for you at this pace.

Best wishes
Jo.

Thats good to hear the growth is appearing now, hopefully you are just a slow grower for whatever reason.

Like you said, give it twelve months to fully evaluate the result,as long as you keep taking pictures to document it we will be able to compare.

Thanks for the update and all the best to you.

Wise words these dude;)

It's horrible waiting for results to grow in but the truth is everyones different so people do grow at different speeds and as BM says you very well could be just a slow grower. That been said I too think theres been an improvement since your last update you posted and agree with Dazzster that your handling this very well.

I too would love to see a new update ;)

Hi Guys,

I haven't posted for a couple of months, this is basically because there hasn't been much change really. But I'm now coming up to the 9 month mark in a few days. I would say at the moment things are a bit better than they were as the hair has started to thicken in diameter a little. I haven't noticed new growth since the 6 month mark really. There are a few shots below, 3 of which are taken in normal lighting conditions and 1 low lighting condition. I do apologise as some may not be in the greatest of focus but it's difficult to get it spot on on your own. Enjoy the updates, Best wishes.

Hi Jo.

It has thickened up since your last update, nine months is still not the end so theres more time for extra growth.

Are you wetting your hair or using gel as hair looks thinner when wet.

Cheers Bm.

Hi Guys, thanks Daz, BM for your replies, I have sent off pis to HDC and I'm looking forward to meeting up with them at the 12 month mark. Congrats Daz, I read you have your Crown procedure coming up, all the best mate. My hair is combed back with water in the pic, it was also combed back with water when HDC took the pre op pictures, I just try to make it so an equal comparison can be made to the first picture, although HDC had much better lighting conditions than my bedroom. Well that's it for now, More next month. Best wishes, Jo.

Hey guys,

I've had a meeting with HDC (earlier than scheduled) at the 10 month mark. The meeting was positive & we both agreed that although the result is better than before the required density has not been achieved. HDC have verbally assured me that the situation will be corrected. Although I'm not happy about having to go through another procedure to the same area I do feel that HDC's after care services so far are appropriate. I will keep you up to date on further developments. My very best wishes to all HT patients & readers alike.

kind regards,
Jo.

Thanks BM & Daz for your support.

I agree, I think we're all individual cases & growth/recovery speeds vary from patient to patient. I've researched the industry for quite some time & seen a vast range of results some within 6 weeks some within a year... However it is important for those readers considering a procedure to comprehensively cover/research & enquire at the consultation stage regarding company After Care policies.

Best wishes
Jo.
