HDC Hair Transplant Clinic- 3250 grafts Combination Surgery

Hello Everybody,



The following patient has undergone two Strip procedures in the past with unknown number of grafts. His expectations were to soften the hairline,fill the top and add some density on the crown.

The HDC medical team with the leader being Dr. Maras decided to proceed with combination surgery over three consecutive days. The first day 1000 FUE grafts were placed within the hairline and then on day two and three 2000 grafts were placed on top and 250 grafts on the crown.

Below i present photos before, immediately after and the result at the 8th month mark.

Huge improvement here, i think the goals were addressed succesfully and the hairline looks much softer.

Why was a combination surgery decided in this case?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering how do you approach a hairline repair like this in terms of hair angulation. This patients previous hairline grafts seem to be planted almost vertically is the doctor restricted to planting new grafts to match or can he plant the new grafts more flat and natural and what other factors have to be considered?
Open question to all the experts, all input appreciated. (Bm, janna, hairtech)
