I've been losing my hair for around the last 5 years. The hair line has receded quite a bit and I now have the style where I push the hair forward. On the crown it is started to thin out as well now, my father lost his hair when he was younger than me so I'm grateful to have kept mine for this long.

I tried minoxidil 5% for 3 months, but unfortunately shortly after using it my partner (who was unaware of me using it) started getting an allergic reaction on her face. I tried to use it when we were apart and then washing my hair when she came around but she still got the rashes on her face I soon realised it must of still been on the pillows. It became difficult to try and avoid the reactions and I love her more than my hair so I decided to stop using it.

Can anyone suggest or tell me about what they have tried and how it went for them please? Thanks in advance.

Hello welcome to the forum, I use rogaine foam instead of the minoxidil as I developed a rash on my eyelid using the liquid for some reason but I am ok with the foam which is weird.

I also take Finasteride which helps a lot. And I use Regenepure shampoo.

Have you any pictures of your loss?

Hi, I suffer hair loss problem too, i never took any medicines, i just used shampoo that's specially made for hair loss, it's the Leimo, they have shampoo, conditioner and many more.

Hello
I started using propecia 6 months ago.
At first I couldn't see any difference but now my hair is starting to grow again. It's really amazing. I've heard tho that not everyone has got positive experiences with propecia so I guess this post doesn't confirm anything. Still, I got positive results.

Consult a dermatologist about propecia. Ask your gp or insurance company to refer you to one.

I was away at college and didnt want to fly home to see an in-network doctor, so I just called the nearest dermatologist, paid like $75 for the checkup and consultation, and left with a propecia prescription.

Hey all... I'm new here.

I first started losing my hair at 17. I immediately started LLLT treatment with advanced hair studio. but they are really expensive so I could only afford 6 months. I learned that LLLT works! I grew my hair back to 90% with that treatment.

my regime now is:

5% minoxidil topically twice daily
resveramix tablets twice daily (resveratrol antioxidant)
saw palmetto 500mg tablets twice daily
vlasyproject 54 laser unit 20 minutes daily

I maintain my hair about 80-90% at all times. my regime works really well for me.

I hope this helps. I noticed that not many people use minoxidil with LLLT when it's like the greatest combo ever!

btw peppermint oil is also good as a blood circulation agent. emu oil+peppermint oil topically is awesome too, for those who aren't too good with minoxidil.

I've learned so much from forums in the past, I'm glad I can give something back now.

all the best with your hair guys.

Glad you have managed to keep your loss under control....it sounds like you have all the bases covered with the minox, saw palmetto and laser. Why did you opt for the Saw over Propcia though? (just curious dude)
And what is resveramix? and what does it doing regarding hair loss?
Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your regime;)
