Hey guys, I'm back at long last. Still have no idea what was wrong with me but I was just about ready to start filming my 7 month vid and I became seriously unwell and it seemed to go on forever...

Anyway, as is the case when you eventually get back on your feet, all sorts of things catch up with you. Nevertheless, I'm on hols at long last next week (first time since Nov 19) so I decided to record & edit a quick update beforehand.

Hope you're all well. I'll check in on some of the other cases on here once I get a couple of hours later.

Good to hear back from you and see you have recovered from whatever illness you had. It did sound like Covid but thankfully, you’re ok. Your hair is looking good, it’s totally changed your appearance and makes you look younger. Crowns do to take a bit longer to see the full improvements.
I bet you’re looking forward to your holiday, it’ll be nice and relaxing I hope and you’ll be wanting your photo taken.
Good to hear your channel is growing too. I enjoy listening to the down to earth commentary about life in general and your hair.

Yeah I reckon it was Covid despite all the neg tests. Never been so run down in my life. Although that being said, since Jan we've been so busy I've barely stopped not had a weekend to myself.

Can't wait until I'm away now, but life has taught me to contain my excitement until I've got boots on the ground on foreign soil! Funny you should mention photos - had my hair cut yesterday (photo below) and I'm still never getting bored of catching a reflection of myself in a shop window walking back from town.

You can't put a price on that. For someone who got a transplant mainly because I couldn't go on holiday... It's not worked out too bad at all...!

Next vid will be a fun one. I wrote the scripts etc months ago, and the subscriber counting slowly ticking up during my absence has really given me a boost.

As for the 12 month point - well I have a huge number of photos ready for a good old time lapse

Nice picture. Yes, seeing a new you in shop windows etc is a good feeling. Having missed your last holiday certainly paid off. It’ll make this one all the better. Hopefully, everything runs to plan and you’re relaxing on the beach soon.

Since I'd been absent a while I thought I'd put together a "pre-surgery" sort of "what you need to know" type vid for anyone who's either about to book the procedure - or has already booked it and the big day is fast approaching.

I'll post an 11 month update early July.

Yeah the 11 month one will hopefully be a cracker (well, by my standards at least - there's only so much I can do with a notebook and camera phone!)

I had a bit of a disaster...

For the 12 month one I was going to do a complete time lapse but I had to reset my phone as it had a software glitch and I lost a lot of my earlier pics.

I can go back through previous vids and screenshot but it won't look as good as most of them have text covering some of the shots

I'll see what I've got to work with closer to the time though...
