I dont like dr umars donor extractions, i seen pics where he takes way too much from areas around and infront of the ears and the nape area too, he takes too many grafts front the beard in one single session too imo. Personally i wouldnt go to him.

Yeah considering a LOT of people get retrograde alopecia in the nape, I don't like the idea of extracting from that area.

These factors are taken in to consideration. Everyone in my famil has monkey hair in the back of my nape on both side of the family. I had to show dr. Umar pictures proving this. WE grow hair out the back and nape like wolves.

The only people I have seen with retrograde alopecia have been a REALLY old person. Even with the elderly, it is rare. Go for a walk, look around, and see home many people you will with retrograde alopecia.

What i seen in a few patients is that too much hair was taken in areas where density wasnt high to begin with and left it noticeable thin afterwards,the after work is no way near clean either infact it looks a bloody mess, this has no impact on the end result but it does make the post op recovery that bit harder for a few weeks.

Dr Umar seems to like using nape hair, beard also
is he refering to hair on the back of your neck?

some say this hair isnt permanent


I heard a story from Spencer K on his radio show that there was a guy who spent over 100k on body hair with Dr Umar, growth was very bad according to him.

I have not seen or observed Dr. Umar via pictures or video "take too much from a single area in the beard, or nape are by the area" In response to post #21.

Please see post #27. It has worked great for me, and other docs have tried to replicate the use of "nape" hair. The problem is that an unskilled doc finds it very difficult to remove nape hairs in tact. Dr. Umar can remove the nape hair "in tact" due to his extraordinary skill, and his special tools.

When he referrs to nape hair, he is referring to the hair on the neck which is usually trimmed off by barbers or stylists.
