Well my first repair surgery with Dr Bisanga is complete.
I arrived at BHR at 10.00am.
I then had to fill out my consent forms, which took all of 2 mins.
At about 10.30-45 I went into Dr Bisnaga's office to have a brief plan of action discussion.
Then I had to get changed into a surgical gown and take my shoes off and put on blue shoe covers.
Then Steve took my wet and dry pics.
Next Dr Bisanga shaved my hair at the front where he was taking away the mis-angled grafts, and around the scar at the back.
Next into the operating room where I had to get a blood test because my GP wouldnt sign the form so that I could get it done in the UK for free grr.
I was given what I think were some antibiotics, some tylenol and some lovely Valium that I had to put under my tounge, I was chilled out before the Valium but afterwards I was extremley chilled in a good way

.
Next onto the numbing of the front of my head where the bad grafts were going to be removed. Wasnt that painful but I definatly felt it!
Cue Dr Bisanga to come in and remove a load of mis-angled hairs from the front. At the begining I though we were goin to take out 500 but in the end it was only 150ish. 49 of these were comprimised and couldnt be re-used, but thats understandable.
Then my front fue holes were stitched to allow for no scarrring or invisible scarring if you like.
Turn onto my front next for sorting the scar out that has plagued me for so many years. Dr Bisanga extracted 518 grafts from both sides of my donor area via fue, which I must say is a pushover compared to strip. Each time that he uses his fue tool you hear a small crunching sound, not a scary sound by the way.
Then I had my scar area numbed which was more painful than the front but well managable. Dr Bisanga then made all the recipient slits for hairs to go into.
First tech to start inserting these grafts was an American chap called Leaf, who was a very nice guy. Next up were 2 American girls, One of them was called Denise and her nickname was DK and the other girl walled called Mindy. I also has a cute Australian girl keeping me company which was nice

.
I had them all calling me Sparky aswell, as its a real life nickname.
I was in the chair for 7 hours give or take.
Graft count:-
1 hair 110
2 Hair 218
3 Hair 190
4 Hair 0
Graft count doesnt include the mis-angled grafts taken from the front which was 150, 49 werent able to be used.
My Hotel was great I was on the 7th floor with a balcony.
I would suggest bringing your own food though because it cost me 24 euros for 2 bowls of pasta a water and a glass of wine.
I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say that I had a fantastic time at BHR and cant recommend them highly enough.
All the staff were great, and although I was in the chair for 7 hours, it didnt feel anywhere near that long, and I could easily of done double that.
Thanks to everyone at BHR.
I just look forward to good growth now, and my next procedure in Feb next year which should also be my last.
