I'm Lossing my hair

my story started 2 years ago when i decided to use minoxidil , i was 23 years old , i was not having shedding or thinning of hair , it was just receding hair line , but since my father , brothers and uncles are all bald , i wanted to catch the problem in its beginning

i used minoxidil 5% spray for 1 year over the hair line , but i was not so regular , some times skipped days off , but this was just in the last third of the year , the problem was that i noticed hair thinning in the hair line where i used minoxidil , this was just new thing and did not have it ever before , i thought that this was because of minoxidil and i decided not to use it again

now it is a year after stopping minoxidil , the hair thinning did not stop and larger arias in the frontal part become involved , but the vertex aria still normal

I don't know if the hair thinning i'm suffering is because of my genetics and that minoxidil was struggling to delay it, or it is because of using minoxidil over healthy hair and stopping so the hair dead because they become minoxidil dependent

So I decided to start minoxodil again , it is a month now after applying it , and the shedding is increasing incredibly , my hair shape is different every 3 or 4 days

What should I have to do now ? should I stop ? should I continue

please help

Its hard to tell as Minoxidil usually causes your hair to shed making it thinner before it regrows thicker and stronger.

Any chance you have some before and after pictures showing the difference.

That's seems to long, maybe try and see a Dermatologist or have a cinsult with a Ht clinic.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
From what ive read i think Minoxidil works better on the crown and the top of the head....it doesn't seem to be as effective at the hairline so it could just be genetics im afraid dude.....as BM suggests it would be good to consult with a Derm or HT doctor.

For me, Rogaine works on the crown and mid but not on the front...

But, in my 6 years, the fin works all over...

My recent re-start after a 6 month gap caused me some concern as my shedding seemed terrible... But this only lasted a few weeks...
