Hi all , am looking for advice on hair transplant,
Am a 55 year old male with thinning hair , I do still have a full head of hair and no bald spots as such but the hair is very thin and can easy see the scalp on the top especially when wet , this is been going on for about 10 years and to try and slow the process down I did started to take one Finasteride 1 mg tablet a day for the past two and a half years , and also I use Alpecin shampoo and the combination of the two I think maybe slowed the process down of hair loss.
The why I want to do this is because I really don’t want to go bald , its not a vain thing as some men do look good bald its just not for me, i have the fear and really have problems mentally with it , might seam silly to some people , but we all have our fears and this is mine
So the main point is at 55 years of age can i have a successful hair transplant that will last into to my later years
If any of the older males out there have had it done, either good or bad results I would love to hear from you
thanks if you had read this post
