Thanks for the update, your weaker growth should catch up with the other side.
It's god t hear the plugs are covered.

Make sure you take regular update pictures so you can see the changes happening.

Cheers Bm

Mars: I guess what I mean is small lines vertically running down from my hairline. There is like three of them and they are hairs (6-7) in a row. They look like piers on the water...except they are hairs and bare skin. Does that make sense?

And I haven't seen any real new growth. It exploded around 3.5 and 4 and just seems to be thickening up.

Which if true would make me a bit sad. My hairline is kinda uneven now. Not a ton...maybe .25 to .5 inches. It now looks like one side is receding big time and the other is a bit thin.

I think i get you but a hairline isnt meant to be straight..i found my hair to change alot after 12 months, hair is softer, straighter and it lays easier too.So there is no need to panic with regards to growth for another few months and the final result in terms of texture etc may take 18 months.

I have read many times how one side grows faster than the other. Is there a reason for this?

Well its been about 9 months and I am a bit disappointed in my results. The hairline is ok €¦I really like the right, but the left is ok. And the crown is my main disappointment. It looks like it €™s only improved about 30-40%. I can still see stalks form my prior transplant and it still looks like I am still seriously balding on my crown. Sigh.

Hi lcsulla

I'm sorry it's not thickened up as much as you wanted. It does look better though.

Having just taken a bunch of photographs of myself for posting on here, the camera flash can make thinks worse than they appear normally.

I can understand your disappointment however. 1800 grafts is a lot on the crown, and it should be somewhat denser I think.

Hang in there. I've seen results posted on other forums that didn't come in until the 12 month period.

Thanks for updating, nine months is too early to see your end result.your crown has definaty improved, looking at your imm post op picture a large area was transplanted as your crown was losing hair towards the mid scalp area.
Have you some hairline pictures to compare.

Try to be patient and wait the 12 months.

Cheers Bm.

Thankyou for udating......I have to agree with BM here because speaking from my own experience my crown improved from months nine to twelve and crowns are known to grow slower.

Warm wishes BN

hang in there and stay positive, i agree with the other posters , there is some progress in the crown , and from all the research ive done , crowns tend to take longer to grow. so you still have some time to see improvements, it should have a bit more coverage in the crown , have you thought about wearing your hair a little longer ,maybe you can get some coverage back there and it wouldnt be on your mind as much, how is your scar? thanks for sharing and good growth to you. SMG are a top clinic and im sure they will get you where you need to be.

Hi

Thank you for the update , the crown certainly looks way better to me and their is still more to come for sure , have you placed pictures before and after next to each other , its a good idea to take pictures every 14 days and do a comparison , keep positive and hope to see more updates

Cheers
