I am 34 and have gone back to law school. As a result most of the people in my class are 10-12 years younger than me.

Today my classmates and I were talking about what it was like getting older and being the mature student my input was required. I explained that essentially I felt the same as I did when I was 19 but that the grey hairs take a little getting used to.

The girl next to me (22) said, "It could be worse... at least you're not going bald"

Thats good to hear Stingray but still shows some have a stigma about bald people which in turn plays on our own feelings.

The stigma of going bald needs to change, the percentage of people suffering from m.p.b is huge but its still something which people feel free to make fun of and put it into a bracket where your open game.

I remember meeting a mates girlfriend who within two minutes of meeting her for the first time made a comment about me wearing a cap and being bald. Now she was fat and completly boss eyed, do you think i called her lard arse and four eyes no i didnt but she still felt it was ok to make fun of my hairloss..

Zion, its just the stigma going or being bald has in the UK.

The pc brigade have not yet made it offensive to make fun of bald people.

I can give as i good as i get, but i really think no one has taken the piss for years. Its an age thing the younger you are it will get to you but the older you get you really dont give a shit.

This is why i think it is important to help those out who are younger who may of got some stick and may make wrong decisions..

Stingray--could you share why you are having HT#3? Where will they place the grafts? Hairline looks pretty dense to me.

Yup, some people are deeply unpleasant, if you say nothing it just encourages them. If faced with that situation you find their weak spot and attack it - that makes them think twice next time.

The hairline is pretty dense now. I am having about 1500 grafts behind the hairline. It is an area that I should of addressed during my last procedure but I didn't want to commit to so many grafts until I was happy that BHR's FUE would produce a high yield.

At the moment the gap isn't too hard for me to cover up but I will be very pleased to have it filled.

I am hoping that after this surgery I should be sorted for a few years to come.
