I've been watching some videos on YouTube which show how to make Topical Finasteride by crushing the pills and mixing with Mioxidil. I was wondering how safe aand effective it is to do this. Some are saying it has less chance of side effects and works better. Is it working better simply because Minoxidil is being used in conjunction with it?

You can still get side effects from the topical solutions.

I use a topical finasteride formulation 0.1% and i have no side effects. I used the 0.25% formulation before but it was too strong and giving me sides. I did use a premade solution tho, not dissolved pills

Taking Finasteride orally is more effective than topical. With topical not all the medication will penetate through the scalp and absorb into the bloodstream. The lesser amount entering the body will lessen the chance of side effects. If I were having more issues with oral I would definitely consider trying a topical version.
If you're not affected by the oral option I would not switch.

I`ll be sticking with Finasteride for the time being seeing it is working for me. My latest pictures show my hair is growing back. You can see my original post or compare these pictures to my profile picture.
