Full Review: I was originally sceptical and nervous about going to a small business for such an expensive procedure. I seriously considered going abroad or London but I’m so happy I didn’t (especially seeing some of the horror stories). I decided to investigate the free consultation from Dr Khalil. After that I never looked elsewhere. He explained the whole procedure in detail along with the methodology with the price quoted (amount of hairs required to be moved, length of procedure, cost of technicians, etc).
After I first booked in, a couple of weeks later I realised I needed to move the appointment. I called expecting some fee for rearranging the appointment, but he was very accommodating and moved the appointment with no charge for me. (I don’t know if this is always his procedure, but twice I had to change dates and both times this was the case!)
The after care has also been excellent, Dr Khalil called me the next day and during the week after to check on my health. I have then taken the optional monthly injections to help growth.
After 8 months I was over the moon, so happy with the results. People who knew me before comment on how different and great it looks! People who I don’t know have no idea that I’ve had a transplant because it looks so natural. See photos attached below of before and after.
One of the things I want to express is that more grafts is not always better! I think (it was a year ago) I had 1500 grafts. This means that in the future, if/when my hair recedes further, the follicles are still there to be used. I have multiple friends who have returned from abroad talking about 4000, 5000 graphs being taken. There hair looks on par to mine (I would say not as good) and if they need further op down the line they can’t, the follicles are gone. What I’m saying is, more is not always better.
After 10 months I had noticed there was a small gap in my hair, just on one side between my old hair and new. It was so tiny and only noticed by me because when I had my hair styled you couldn’t notice it. I had to separate my hair to notice it. I didn’t plan to say anything, but Dr Khalid contacted me to check how I was doing as it had been a year. I mentioned this and he welcomed me to come up to the clinic to check. He had a look and said it wasn’t overly noticeable, but he could see the gap I was discussing. It just seemed like the hair didn’t take in that spot. 2 weeks after that Dr Khalid had me in for 100 extra graphs with him being paid nothing! I offered him some money as a thank you and he refused.
The whole experience has been brilliant, I could not be happier and could not be more confident in recommending Tajmeel Clinic.
Jake Campbell.
