My current status / want to do FUE only in February / what can be done?

Hello,

I'm planning to do a surgery in the middle of February, and I have many many questions.
I'm 29 years old, I started taking FIN 4 months ago and currently I#m using a concealer to hide my hairloss, which works quite well but not so good for the temple areas.

I want to do FUE only and asked Dr. Keser and Dr. Koray.

Dr. Keser would do 1500-2000 Grafts with a maximum of 700 Grafts per day all by himself, Dr. Koray would do 3200 Grafts on 2 days with his team

Because 4 months is too short to see any FIN results, I think that the miniaturised hair ist going to be thick again in about 6-12 months. In the meanwhile, I want to treat the areas where I lost most of my hair, esp. in the temples, the frontal hairline and the frontal area behind the hairline. Then wear everything short for 8 months and let it grow again.

What do you think will the result be? I want to wear my hair again like in the last photo, I know that I will never achieve that density but I want to be able to style my hair again like this. Can such a result be achieved (with low density), or do you think this is a waste of time and money? Should I start now (I know, I will certainly have to do another transplant in about a year) or should I live with my hairloss because there are too few of the miniaturised hairs left?

I think 2000 Grafts are not enough, I tend do do the 3200 Graft transplant with Dr. Koray? Or should I go with Dr. Keser, because he does every Graft by himself and therefore, the result would be better / much more of the transplants will grow afterwards?

Thanks in advance!!

Best regards

If you`re only getting the grafts in the frontal third i`d say 2000-2500 if you want it to look like that picture.

What a Tool
Hi Mate

I am not expert, but to realise you goals i.e. that photo you posted, I would say at least 2500 in the front. Remember though it will be longer, so the crown loss might be more obvious; but the fin might help with this. Remember, it's not neccesarily about regaining the look/density you had 10 years ago- it's the art of deception i.e. appearing that you have a full head of hair - this is what top surgeons can do.

Have a look at my blog- link at the bottom of the page- I had 2004 grafts in the front- this will give you an idea of the area where the grafts were planted and the density. I think they were placed around 50-60 grafts per cm2

Good luck.

I'd say go with Dr Keser, he results do look good, and he doesn't rush anything which is good.

Whats the hurry and why only in feb. Have you met real patients of the two docs. It matters little whether the doctor himself does the complete transplant if the result dont look good. I have consulted with many doctors. Most refuse to let me meet their patients. Then there are ppl i ve met where everything was done by the doc and the result was crap. When in doubt, delay. That would be my suggestion.

Ask both docs if they have qny patients who are local to you and willing to meet as this will help you in your research and choice.
