NCB, it's healing nicely & no one would suspect you've had work at this point. How's the scar coming?

top pic, i nearly died off when i seen this, lost alot of hair in the crown, now i know were all the hair is coming from blocking my plug hole, blue circles were ive lost hair and red circle is were ive had grafts placed, some reasons i may have lost hair, shedding, shock loss, rogain foam 5% twice a day only used it once in the past another i changed my proscar to the cheaper ones from DR ash, so ive put in a new order for the orignal proscar,

Hi ngb scar is coming along fine, i would say 75% is totally covered with hair and the other 25% is slightly thin with a slight bit of stretching will have to see about the 6-8 month mark

Hi NCB
Not looking bad considering how soon it is. I feel for you if you're seeing loss in an area you hadn't before. Like you say it might be a number of things - I did seem to notice more hair fall when I used Rogaine twice a day rather than just once. I think it is quite strong. On the positive it looks like you can still hide things until it all settles down. If it's shock loss I think I'm right in saying it'll grown back fairly soon just a matter of hiding it until it does.
Best wishes

Looking good NCB - thanks for the progress pictures. Can't believe you're most through the doldrum stage already. Well, the time seems to fly for me at least...lol. Nice pics!

if you are shedding as a result of the rogaine, isn't that typically a sign that it's working and the hairs are shedding to make room for new hair? Re changing source of meds: ya, joe (at H&W) told me that the only case they had of someone who medication stopped working on them was when this guy started buying fin somewhere else (cheaper); they suspect the medication wasn't as strong /or was bogus.

looking good man!

Yeah the shedding is supposed to be a sign it's working but it's a bit scary. I saw that especially when I tried it years ago (not the foam granted). I'm sure I've seen some posts that there's a few guys who see quite good results just using it once a day - maybe it takes longer I dunno. I'd feel happier with a gradual change that's all.

Of course it might not be the Rogaine and I do wonder about some of places that supply fin online. There was also talk in the UK that some dodgy meds (i.e. not just fin etc) were getting into the UK NHS prescription system which is deeply worrying for people with serious healthcare problems.

Hi NCB

Your transplanted area is looking good, the redness seems to be non existent.

As for your crown,it may well be the change in meds, imo i dont think it will be shockloss as you never had any hair placed there.I would wait a month or so and see what it looks like just incase its a really bad shed or if it reverses itself once you change back to your usual meds.

Cheers bm.

Looking great so far at the 3 month mark. The shedding could be essentially everything that you listed so I guess you are right that only time will tell. Since you did have hair transplanted in the red area, it is possible to have some shockloss in the blue area as they are fairly close.
