Hello everyone.
I`d like to share my experience with The Maitland Clinic.
Before deciding on a clinic, I did extensive research over several months to find the most suitable place for my hair loss treatment.
I chose The Maitland Clinic to treat my hair loss problem because of Dr Ball’s background as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons who had specialised in the area of cosmetic surgery and also held an international qualification in hair restoration, as a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Reading through their website and online videos platform, I was confident that I had found a surgeon who would treat my hair loss on a long term basis.
I had an FUE transplant (1557 grafts) at The Maitland Clinic in January 2021. Two weeks post procedure and you cannot tell I have had the procedure, so far everything is healing well.
The Maitland Clinic have been very professional from the very first moment, David starts off with an initial online consultation, which was a great starting point. He is very friendly and provides a lot of valuable information and this was followed up with a face to face meeting with Dr Ball. Here I met both with David and Dr Ball and discussed my expectations and my options, as well as additional treatments.
Having decided to go ahead with the procedure, the communication prior to the procedure from everyone was excellent, especially during these difficult times of CV19. I knew exactly what was going on at every stage.
The day before the procedure, I met with Dr Ball to discuss again the transplant and to finally draw on the design/lines. He took his time to answer any question I had, finishing very late in the evening.
On the day at 8am I was greeted by Dr Ball and his team, everyone was extremely professional, caring and friendly and I felt immediately at ease and I was looked after throughout the day by Karen.
When the procedure finished she talked me through the aftercare procedure/pack. The following day she was straight on the phone to contact me to see how I was doing and this has been followed up by regular communication and I am sending regular photos on my progression to keep on file.
I am extremely happy with the treatment I received from all the team at The Maitland Clinic.
They really do care about their patients and provide a 5* service from start to finish and would therefore highly recommend The Maitland Clinic to anyone who is considering having hair loss treatment.
