Haven’t posted an update in a while.
Below is 3 and a half years post surgery (today)

Result is still the same, and happy as ever

Sooo - after much thought and debate - I decided to go for my second hair transplant procedure.
Goal of hair transplant no.2 - lower hairline slightly, increase hairline density and mid scalp density.

Total grafts - Approx 2080.

The corners of your hairline are a little too rounded. I would ask the clinic to rectify this and add more single finer hairs in this second procedure.

This was the plan. I wasn’t happy with the hairline itself, for the reason you mention above. I also felt it was a bit thinner in the middle.

I am now 6 weeks post my 2nd FUE and excited for the months ahead.

For my 2nd FUE I went for an unshaven FUE. So only the back and sides were shaven, and the recipient area was unshaven. For me this was a game changer, as 10 days post op, my hair transplant was not noticeable and I could go back to normal life without anyone asking any questions. Unlike my first FUE when I had a fully shaven head.

Really happy with how the procedure went and especially the design of the hairline.

Total grafts : Approx 2080.

check out my pics below which are immediately post op!

That’s a decent size surgery this second time around. Was the hairline lowered slightly?
Have you a side view picture to show how they corrected the temple angles?
How has it healed?

Hey @Bigmac,

That’s the only photo I have of the side.

Hairline was lowered slightly, but not too much. My surgeon was very reluctant to lower it any more and he wanted to ensure I retained a natural look.

It has healed very well. I am just over 2 months post surgery, and my hair looks like it did pre op. You can’t notice I have anything done. Doing the op unshaven this time round has made the recovery so much easier as there was no real ‘ugly duckling’ phase. I was able to return to normal life 10 days post op, and my hair looked normal due to having length and being able to hide it.

Having grafts placed between your existing hairs does help with recovery time/looking normal. The corner still looks rounded but not like it did from the first one. Once this is grown in you’ll hopefully have the result you want.

Hey guys,

Regarding blood tests, what was the list of tests requested by Hairpalace?

Thanks,

You should contact the clinic directly asking them what is required as things may have changed since OP`s HT.
