hi guys,

here is my one month update. Its been quite difficult in the last two weeks, as I have been going through the shedding phase. As you can see from the pics, I lookmore bald than I started out. I knew this was probably gonna happen, but kinda hoped it wouldnt. What happens now?c;;9

Hi Ws7.

Now its just the waiting game for you, your crown area looks like it should after a HT.

If i were you i would add some Nanogen fibres to your crown until your transplanted hairs grow out.You look as though it will work well on you.

Thanks for keeping us updated.

thanks bigmac, I knew what to expect but I guess its hard not to stress about looking thinner than original, even though you know it will grow back...but till it does there always seem to be that element of doubt.

I used them at 10 days post op with no problems.

Your grafts are secure by then and the skin around them has healed.

I would advise to wash it out every night though and re apply the following day.

Glad it works well for you, remember to try and use as little as possible to get the most natural look, dont cake it on.

Be great if you could post some before and after pictures with it.

Cheers bm.

Hi ws7, I hope that everything goes very well for you and the new year brings lot of hair to you, ;), concerning the nanogen it is amazing but be careful, it can create addiction, :whatever:

I will look forward for your next update, if you need anything just let me know.

Cheers! Z:B

hi Escar,

I have started to have some growth, its a little patchy but its early days yet, just waiting till next week for the 2 month mark before uploading the new pics. And you are right about the nanogen, I kinda had to stop myself from using it all the time!

hi guys, here are pics of 2 months post op, I have also attached a pic of what the crown looks like after using some Nanogen fibres.

The pic doesn't really it show it well (still look pretty bald!), but I have started having a fair amount of growth, when I run my fingers through my crown can feel the tiny hairs coming through, too small to really make a visible difference yet.

I think this has to be the most difficult part of the whole process, waiting and hoping it all grows, andhoping it grows fast. Personally I think I am doing pretty good to have growth after 2 months, was told it would be at least 3 months before growth starts.

There are only a few areas of the scalp which still feel a little sensitive, but completely pain free now and feel fine.

Hi Guys,

Here is my 3 month update, I can feel some growth, but I must admit was hoping for more growth than there is, I have no idea whether this is how much growth it should be or whether it should be more your feedback would be appreciated, it's getting really frustrating, when should I start seeing more growth?

Hi Ws7.

At three months most patients don`t see much growth if any,so there is no need to worry.Crowns take longer to show growth also.

It looks perfectly normal to me,the Nanogen works well for you although there seems to be a patch of it,maybe use a little less spread out more.

You will need to be patient and the growth will come.

Take care bm.

Hang in there. All of this takes time. You will be in good shape soon enough.

Looks good, now you have to sit back relax, throw out or cover all the mirors in the house.

You made a great descision going for FUE and your result will be very nice, just give it time.
