Just had a strip procedure. Have been considering it for years. I am at day 4 and all is healing well. The procedure itself dealt with very professionally by the surgeon and his team, consisting of the surgeon and his team of 5 lovely ladies all making me feel at ease. Very little discomfort even post op, however removing a large strip of skin approx 4-5mm deep from the back of the head means you need to follow the surgeons instructions to the T to avoid infection. I am 54 and wanted a result that looks natural for my age leaving some of my crown still thinning. Hopefully this will achieve what i want but i would not hesitate to bulk out the areas a little more should i think i need it. A decision to be made in 12-18 months.

Nearly 4 weeks on. Many of the grafts have grown, probably lost about 50%, those that are left are over 1 cm long. The scar is a dark pink line about 1mm wide, i am rubbing bio oil into it twice a day in the hope it will help it heal better. williams wrote:

Two months on and i have growth already. More hair than before the procedure. A positive at this early stage. My original hair has grown back with a good mix of new hair at the same length and lots of small hairs 1-2 mm long. Looking forward to 3 months, should be good if it continues at this rate.

Hello everyone, When I was just 23 years old and was suffering from hair loss problem on my crown. As I had lots of dandruff,i used to scratch my scalp all the time and that creates more hair loss problem. After   that I received too many suggestions from everyone , however my friend suggested me to consult with Dr. Daniel Joseph and they   told me you need to have hair transplant surgery. So after completing this surgery over there. I actually get satisfied with the treatment which was given by them.
So I will recommend you Daniel Joseph in case if you have any problems related to hair.

Just over 5 months. All is well, my hair has grown significantly. I have cut it about three times as it grew to help keep a natural look. At the moment it is about an inch long. I would say it looks as dense as it was 20 years ago and it should improve a lot more yet. Luckily my hair shafts are quite thick which adds to the density and texture. My transplant was done by UK hair transplant clinic and I am very pleased I chose them as everything has gone to plan, the worst of it is over and I am confident it will achieve my expectations.

At eight month now. Went through a lull at 5 1/2 to 7 1/2 months, thought that was it, not a lot happening, felt a little disappointed. However growth has started again with pimples where new hair has started to grow again, even on the donor scar. The hair that had grown in previous months has matured considerably in last couple of weeks and is therefore much easier to style. So theres more to come, which is great but even as it stands I am more than happy. My next goal is to get the crown done hopefully in about 5-6 months time.
My procedure was done by Dr Haseeb at UK HAIR TRANSPLANT CLINICS.
