Hi Dan,

It could be another session of shedding or it could be some temporary shock loss around the scar, I had this myself quite badly and know of quite a few people that also suffered it, if it is shock loss then it will grow back after 3-4 months. You could give the back of your head a good soak to improve the little scabs where the staples were.

Enjoying this thread. I love seeing young guys who suffered hairloss frim a very young age getting sorted.

Hopefully you can forget about your hairloss for a good few years at least! Hairline design is nice and density looks great.

Going through hairloss at a young age is tough, my hairline started going at 16 and now just turned 26 Ive had two HTs with Dr Feriduni. This time post op sucks, Im 7 weeks post op so know its not easy. Once the growth comes through you will see a big difference.

The recipient area is still looking red in those pictures, have you been applying anything to the area to ease the redness, Aloe Vera is a good option for this.

Your shock loss around the donor closure will grow back, it just takes a little time.

Thanks for the photo update. As Big Mac says your recipient area is still a little red and aloe vera will help to settle that down. The shockloss around the scar will take around 2-4 months to fully return. I will be in London on the 9th of July if you are around it would be nice to meet up and see how you are getting along in person.

*3 MONTH UPDATE*

I met up with Daniel last Friday in London to see how he was getting on 3 months post op. His recipient area is still a little pink but certainly not as red as it looked in the last set of photos he posted with his phone camera, it actually shows up more on camera than in person.

The shock loss is improving and i expect this to again get better over the next couple of months. His native hair and old transplants are growing back and he has pimples which is s sign of new growth.

The scar is healing very well and many hairs can be seen growing through this area, he has a slightly raised area in one section that is about 1cm long which will settle down in due course.

3 months is just the very start and little new growth will have been seen, the good news for Daniel is the worst part is well behind him now.

I really think and this is going to be a great result, very good growth already and the scar looks great except for that one area which i think is safe to say will need to be revised, however its a small area so nothing to worry about.
