Hi Kal,
Congratulations on your HT. I am booked in for a consultation tomorrow afternoon at Ziering's Hammersmith office. I'm just wondering what your experience of going with Ziering was like? Would you recommend it? Any negatives?

Dear allIt has been about 7 weeks since I had my HT,can someone please advice how long after the procedure the scar will stop stretching,as mine is getting wider on the sides of my head, I am still applying the Vaseline and bio oil twice daily,?Any advice is extremely appreciatedKal

Hello Kal,All patients are at risk of scar stretching, they look worse if you have redness and shock loss around it.It's best to see your doctor if possible and just wait it out to see how it finally settles, you may need a revision, if this is not an option due to your laxity Fue into the scar may be another way of concealing it.Try not to despair and worry too much as I'm sure a solution will be found by your doctor.

Dear BM , Thank you for this information,I think you are very right shocking hair loss around the scar does make the scar look wider,I think it's a waiting game ,it's been less than 7 weeks but for me it's like 7 months as can not wait to see the full result,I have noticed some hair started to grow already which make me feel happy, as my wife keep saying your hair look thicker.This time it's totally different from my previous FUE 4 years ago at another clinic (not good result).I think I am very lucky this time as my HT done By Mr.Ball ..Kal

If you can see bare skin around the scar you think it is scar tissue but usually it's normal scalp suffering from some shock loss, once the redness fades and the hair grows back you will be able to see if it's stretched much.

I have viewed numerous scars which appear stretched not long after surgery because of the factors mentioned. Remember a scar can shrink over time whilst it heals.

Dear friends thank you so much for all your advice and support, it has been 8 months since my HT with Mr. Ball at Ziering, I do not believe the result it is fantastic,I am really happy with the result a huge difference, I will be grateful to Mr. Ball for the rest of my life.
Strongly recommend him,he is very honest and he's always available if I need help or advice.
If any one got question please let my know as very keen to share my experience

Excellent result for that amount of grafts. You must be delighted. You have good donor characteristics which helps aswell.

A big transformation. Dr. Ball was able to lay a good foundation of hair throughout the whole scalp. You should have some more thickening to look forward to in the next 4-6 months. You have the option to add density if you so choose but it certainly wouldn't be mandatory. Good for you Kal!

Mr. Ball is very talented, when I look to my photos before the operation there is a huge difference, I will see him again in 4 months time and I might go for a another one some time next year.Thank you every one your advice and support are extremely appreciated
