I used it everyday and still do. The shampoo I switch up and sometimes use a Biotin shampoo just to try something different, but the American Crew is really good.
The pills I take every morning before work, and the minox I use every night before going to bed. I also sometimes after showering use a scalp tonic, it keeps my head and hair fresh.
All these things have I been doing since the 3 month after the surgery and I think it has helped my hair growth a lot. Plus my hair is thicker than it was before the surgery :)

Hi mate, thanks for the reply.

Very helpful.

Not sure if you saw my other post on another thread, but maybe you can help here ?

Do you know what size the blades they use at Cosmedica are ?

I'm of the understanding that if the incisions are small/refined using custom cut or smaller blades, then this would cause less trauma to the scalp and reduce the possibility of shock loss/permanent shock loss.

I'm a little concerned about permanent shock loss of native hair in the recipient area as I do still have some there.

I have emailed Cosmedica, but it does take some time for them to reply.

Thanks in advance.

Hi JonnyL
I can't help you there sorry, I don't know what size was used. Yes, I think Cosmedica gets alot of requests and sometimes the responding time is not the best.

Hi Papazon just wondering if during the procedure COSMEDICA sprayed the recipient area with saline or water to stop scabbing?

Hi everyone
So it's been 1 year after my surgery at Cosmedica and I must say I'm very happy with the result. I still take biotin pills, American Crew shampoo, minoxidil, B-vitamins and workout and I feel my hair is growing and becoming stronger.
Here's pictures after 1 year

Looks great Papuzon. Glad you got a good result.

Do you remember what the technicians who did your surgery looked like? :T:

Thanks! I'm very pleased with the result and people don't believe me when I say I had it done.
No can't really remember. There was a boy and a girl who did the surgery and one female doctor at some point, but I was sleeping most of the time haha :D

Thanks for the update Papuzon glad your transplant turned out well! I hope mine turns out a percentage of what yours did it must be a weight off your mind. Any possibility you would have a monthly picture to assess the growth phases?

Here are some monthly pics of my growth. I feel more has grown the last 2 month. It's been 1 year and 1 month, since the surgery. The first picture was 1 month after

Thanks for the update man! Looks like you didn't have much growth at 4.5 months but a great result! What month did you have the most growth? When did it start to look good?

I think the most growth was around 8-10 month and around 12-13 month it got even better. The hairs got thicker and density got better. I also switched to some new biotin pills and started to use minoxidil in the morning and before bed.

Hi papazun.just had procedure done at Cosmedica myself.Hopefully I get a result somewhere near as good as yours! Tell me mate did you use finasteride at all? I've been looking into it a lot but am struggling to make my mind up on the stuff.obviously I want to give my hair the best chance but some of the side effects are a concern
