It has now been 6 months since my hair transplant and l'm pretty happy how things are going. if it continues like this till July the full year l will be over the moon. l try to use the same background every time so you all can see the progress. Happy New year to everyone.

This is a great transformation so far. The crown looks ever so natural with very good density for 6 months. No wonder you are happy.

Thanks Bigmac and Dazzster. Yes really happy with results. didn't expect this much growth as the crown takes longer they say. the days avoiding rain and wind and getting in and out of cars are nearly over.

Wow, this has grown very quickly @pdoc - I imagine that the Dudasteride must be helping with too. I'd be happy with my crown looking as good as yours now, let alone what it will be like in 12-18 months when it is fully matured. When I've had crown work in the past, it has taken around 18 months for it to look it's best. Congratulations!!

Thanks very much Edsarn. Dudasteride taking now 17-18 months plus the minoxidil foam twice daily now nearly 6 months. and biotin shampoo and tablet. plus multi vitamins which l have taken most of my life. times l think things are going slow till l look back at old pics. what l was hoping for. and what l have now regarding progress. is way ahead of were l thought l would be. plus l contacted the surgery to say thanks and they told me it was 1650 grafts l got not the 2000 which l thought l got. they said l have thick hair and to many grafts would not give me a natural look to what was needed to blend in with what l have.

Wow pdoc this post was just what I needed. I need crown restoration. I’m from Glasgow and have a consultation with Seneca tomorrow.

Today is my first time on this forum and I see this. Who would have thought?

Congratulations on your result so far. It’s very impressive. I don’t think my donor quality is anywhere near as good as yours but this is encouraging

It is a very nice improvement so far. You had a large balding crown that looks good now with quite a few months to go before we see the final result.
Thanks for the update.

Wow! Great result so far. When I had my crown done for the first time, I did not get my final result until about 18 months later. After 12 months I stopped checking and noticed a big difference when I checked again 2 years later. I did not think it had improved much, but noticed a difference when I looked at older photographs. Can't wait to see you 12 month pictures. Would it be possible for someone else to take the pictures, so we can see what it looks like a bit further away?

Amazing results!
Could you please tell me how long you had to wait for an appointment? Was there a long time between initial contact and the day or did they have fairly regular appointments open?

I did a video call Adba 19 , l sent them an email to start with. and everything was done online. my appointment was through whats app a video call. l could have traveled for an appointment but was happy to do it this way. l say it must have been a week or 2. they asked what date suited me for the transplant and l said July which is when l got my holidays. and it give me 9 months to save for it.
