Hi,
I had my procedure 4 weeks ago, and this is what it looks like. Shedding has started in the last few days. Does this look normal? My scabbing came off between days 12-15 post op is this ok? There is still redness mainly around the hairline and I have one small pimple like mark that resembles an ingrown hair in the recipient area, what is best to treat this? Any feedback that you can give would be helpful as I am a bit anxious. Thanks.
Regards, Reg

Hello @Reg45, it´s looks quite normal for 4 weeks post surgery. The redness will naturally go over the next week or so. If you get any acne like pimples try to leave them, do not scratch, or you can place a warm flannel over them and compress for a minute. Re the pimple, just leave and let nature do what it will, if concerned more talk with your clinic.

Everything you have described is part of what normally happens.

Do you have any details on your surgery and photos?

It's normal, when I had a hair transplant, I experienced the same situation. However, it will return to normal, and you should be patient as the results take about six months.
