Not satisfied with my 2200 grafts from Asmed Clinic

I had 2200 grafts on my hairline with Asmed clinic in Turkey over 12 months ago and I’m not happy with the density or gaps that’s in my hairline.

I’ve went for a second opinion with a highly rated HT doctor in the industry and he says I would need another 1000 - 1200 to reinforce my hairline and close the gaps that I have in front. The highly rated doctor he informed me that I have over harvesting in the back of my head from my procedure at Asmed.

I’ve contacted Asmed to inform them and they now want me to go back for a second free procedure though the more I research about Asmed at the moment the more negative reviews are popping up which I didn’t see when I researched the company before my first procedure.

Do you think I should go back to Asmed and run the risk for letting hair transplant techs do a second procedure on my or pay the extra money and have a top doctor do a procedure on me?

I've having a hard time seeing what the problem is. I mean, I see it isn't full density, but no hair transplant is after one pass, but frankly, your photos leave a lot to the imagination. Maybe take more photos, without flash, and review them to make sure they're showing what you see in the mirror.

It looks good to me. How have they overharvested your donor with 2200 grafts?
Have you got bare patches in your donor hair?

Based on what I'm seeing, you shouldn't have been accepted as a patient in the first place. I'm thinking your density issue is simply due to shock loss.

Yes I have some sections at the back that you can see have been over harvested.

At this stage any hair loss is minimal and so will any result from hair restoration. Another important issue is the hair density that can be achieved from a hair transplant procedure. As in almost all cases the original hair density cannot be matched.

Your transplant looks good to me in the pictures you have displayed, unless i'm not seeing things others are?

It´s hard to be totally objective when comparing your pictures as they are taken under different conditions. That said the result pictures appear to look natural in respect to the hair placement. The hairline density, if that is the issue, is affected by natural hair characteristics. Some allow the final look to be much thicker while others a slightly more gradual density of fullness. Some can be down to the hair placement of single hair units and then multiple hair units behind. Matching the native existing hair density is not always possible. As said, from your pictures, the hair placement looks natural and in keeping with your surrounding hair. The look of hair fullness can be an expectation not being met and can be addressed if discussed. But, it has to be noted that a thick very frontal hairline with some hair characteristic types often do not look natural, especially over time. It would be best to have a few in-person consultations to ensure your expectations can safely be met.
