Have you been in touch with the Clinic expressing your concerns?

It does look like you have had minimal growth. But it also appears that your hair around the sides appears quite fine.

Patient Coordinator
Hi Everybody,

HDC is sorry that this patient seems unhappy with his result.

We have a procedure of how these cases are processed.

We invite the patient to our clinic for assessment of his result face to face with all details that are included in the patient's clinic file presented. One photo or some photos posted by the patient in this forum cannot be used as the base of a correct and objective assessment.

When we meet in Our Clinic we will take good quality photos that will represent what the patient we look in the mirror and when we agree that these are the correct ones to post then we will post them in the forum for the other members to examine the result and gather more opinions.

Regarding the growth percentage, we can find out if any grafts did not grow by measuring the density of the transplanted grafts with the help of a micro camera and see how many grafts did not grow. All the non-grown grafts can be replaced for free.

In order however to present the details of this case in a more professional way we show the characteristics of this hair transplant in the photos that follow.

This is a Norwood class 6 Case with very low donor density and low number of hair per follicular unit. It was explicitly explained to the patient of the limitations of his donor and the fact that we would spread the grafts in a big area so that more coverage with low density can be achieved. This was understood and accepted by the patient.

Our patient coordinator will be in touch with the patient for arranging his trip to our Clinic and we assure him that we are willing to do whatever needed, within reason, to keep him happy.

Looking forward for the cooperation of the patient.

Regards

Alex

These photos show clearly the donor restrictions of Reed.
Also out of the 2500 grafts a few was used for the scar.

It must be taken into consideration that the grafts are mainly one and two hair grafts that can not give a lot of coverage.

Also it is obvious from the post op photo that the hair has been placed with low density in order to achieve more coverage.

Reed I had two hair transplants with HDC and I am very happy so far.

I can give you the links to my cases if you want.

I am sure that if there are any grafts that have not grown will be replaced for free but you need to understand the limitations of your donor.

I mentioned your sides appear to consist of mainly fine hair, which is not ideal donor grafts.
Obviously they are now in your recipient zone.
It may be worth considering researching the benefits of Finasteride as it could increase the thickness of your individual hairs.

I knew after op i wouldnt be again like i was at my 17 years old , i just wanted to put some grafts and i was expecting to growth them , but they didnt , the grafts from beard was 1/8 growth.

Alex1 the fact that i dont have thick hair doesnt mean the results must be 20% successfull, i understand you try to defend your clinic that you working for thats why i dont want to tell nothing else here . I didnt made this topic for you.

Hi reed,

Fortunately we have an objective way of measuring the grown grafts. I suggest as per our policy to cooperate with your patient coordinator and I hope we will see you soon for an objective evaluation.

Alex

Hi Reed, your hair was very fine all over before your HDC procedure. Some of this donor hair could have thinned more after transplantation but that's just a guess. The Rogaine does look as though it's making your hair thicker, therefor I would consider Finasteride as Coopman suggests.
You will need to be evaluated by the clinic, hopefully you can arrange a mutual agreement when this can take place.
All the best.
Bm.

Dear forum readers,

As you can see from the evaluation photos of this patient, the main objective goals have been achieved:

1.No further damage to the donor from the extraction of 1764 FUE Grafts.

2.he placement of grafts on the scar has grown and achieved the goal of the strip scar to be non-visible with a natural look at the donor.

3.The Transplanted hair looks natural and in line with his donor density.

4.The Transplanted area has been covered with the possible density, given the limitations of patient €™s donor, having mainly one and a few two hair grafts. Also having a lot of beard hair which are usually one hair grafts.

I consider that this gives the evaluation demanded by the forum.

Regards

Alex

I have visited HDC Hair Clinic in Cyprus and after the evaluation as presented in the photos above i am satisfied with the result, given the constraints of my donor.
