Opinions on Spectral DNC-L?

Hi there

What are you folks thoughts on Spectral DNC-L? I've been trying it for a bit over three months, with nothing to show for it, and am wondering how long to carry on before concluding it doesn't work for me.

Was previously trying Nizoral, Finasteride & Minoxidil for about 6 months, with no visible results and replaced the Minoxidil with Spectral DNC-L. Prior to that was on Minoxidil alone for many years. But nothing seems to have stemmed the loss.

Thanks

Oops - I appear to have posted this in the wrong section. My apologies, could an admin please move it to the right place?

Sorry about that

Thanks - I couldn't see many recent posts on http://www.hairlosshelp.com, which perhaps suggests it's no great treatment.

What do people here find the most effective? Anything likely to work if the "big 3" of Nizoral, Minoxidil, Finasteride doesn't?

Some claim Saw Palmetto works for them, maybe check into that. Its very cheap also, so won`t break the bank.

Thanks - I like cheap! DNC-L includes saw palmetto, but I guess it's topical whereas most take it manually.

Coming up to 4 months soon with no apparent progress. The manufacturers say some people don't grow hair for up to 6 months so I guess I should stick with it for a while let.

Reading some positive things about Regaine Foam - do people think this would be more effective than DNC-L?

Cheers

I would stay with it for at least another two months, then if you feel it has not worked, maybe give the foam a try.

just about at the two month period ... nothing to show. Nearly a year since I've been on the "big three", I feel I've continued to lose hair.

Do some people find Eegaine foam works better than the normal variety?

Sorry, meant Regaine Foam in the previous post - is this better than liquid Regaine?

The people behind Spectral DNC have recommended I try DNC-N + Spectral F7. Very pricey that would be.

The foam is easier to apply and absorbs really quick where as the liquid takes a lot longer, as for best results you`d have to try both and see what happens.

Will give it a go thanks - certainly reading around what other people have to say about Spectral DNC there's lot a lot of positive feedback.

I've given up on the Spectral DNC - so since about 3 weeks I have moved from

Nizoral / Spectral / Finasteride
to
Nizoral / Regaine Foam / Saw / Finasteride

Time will tell (though I'll be very surprised if I see any regrowth)

I guess it's about 6 months since I wrote this, and no evident progress - think I'm just experiencing the same slow loss I have done over many many years. I guess I'll carry on for at least another few months as some people say it can take a year, and there's not much of an alternative anyway!
