Here is a picture we took today after a punch out procedure of a patient's hairline. This is a blown up view of a pitted graft. This one was visible to the naked eye.
Pitted grafts typically are created when a technician places a graft too deeply (burying the graft) into the scalp. The result during the healing process in an inward tension placed upon the shaft of the hair.
